How to activate Smart Wallet

Discover a new, seamless way of interacting with crypto cross-chain with Smart Wallet*. Activate your Smart Wallet to freely communicate your intents to Intent Agents, which will execute them, and forget about storing native coins for gas payments.

Let's go step by step to activate your Smart Wallet and start using it.

1. Visit Swaps.io and click the "Connect Wallet" button if you have not used the dApp before.

2. Click the "Smart Wallet" toggle to start the activation** process.

3. To activate your Smart Wallet, you need to top it up.

‍Click the "Deposit" button in the pop-up window to continue.

4. You will enter deposit mode, where you can top up your Smart Wallet balance.

Your Smart Wallet will be created automatically after the first deposit is confirmed (step 7), and its address will be linked to your main wallet.

5. Click "Select Crypto" to choose the assets you want to use for your deposit.

First, select one of the assets available in your balance; then, choose the asset you want on your Smart Wallet.

6. Specify the amount and click "Review" to proceed to the next step.

7. In the pop-up window, you can double-check the details and press “Confirm Deposit”.

8. Open your wallet app and sign the order.

9. Wait for the swap to complete.

It typically takes 3-5 seconds, depending on each network. That’s it! Now, you can swap using Smart Wallet and forget about storing native coins for gas payments!

10. If you do not need to use Smart Wallet, just click on the "Smart Wallet" toggle to deactivate it.

How to top up your Smart Wallet

1. Click the "Smart Wallet" toggle to start using your Swart Wallet.

2. Click on "Smart Wallet" to access your wallet account.

3. To top up your Smart Wallet, simply click the "Deposit" button in your account.

4. You will enter deposit mode, where you can add funds to your Smart Wallet balance by selecting the asset you wish to deposit and specifying the amount.

Please note that at this stage, you will only see the balances of your wallet, not your Smart Wallet.

5. The wallet was successfully topped up.

How to transfer assets from your Smart Wallet

1. To transfer assets to another wallet, click the "Send" button in your account.

2. Choose the asset that you want to send.

3. Enter the wallet address for sending and the amount and click “Send”.

4. Open your wallet app and sign the order.

5. Wait until funds are sent.

How to swap using Smart Wallet

To perform a swap using a regular wallet, you must provide approval each time and maintain a balance of the native coins to pay for that approval. However, with Smart Wallet, you don't need to hold native coins anymore. It allows you to make swaps without worrying about which network you're using, greatly simplifying your cross-chain experience.

1. Click the "Smart Wallet" toggle to start using your Swart Wallet.

2. Click "Select Crypto" to choose assets for sending and receiving.

3. Enter the amount to send and click "Review" to proceed to the next step.

For new networks, a one-time deployment fee will be included in the rate.

4. In the pop-up window, you can double-check the details and press “Confirm SWAP”.

5. Open your wallet app and sign the order.

6. Wait for the swap to complete.

Now you know how to swap cross-chain seamlessly without worrying about gas fees.

For any technical issues, troubleshooting, or support inquiries for Smart Wallet, please get in touch with Safe Global directly at https://app.safe.global/welcome.

1. Go to https://app.safe.global/welcome and connect the same wallet used to create Smart Wallet at Swaps.io. You will see your Smart Wallet created via Swaps.io.

2. Choose the chain where you have your assets.

3. Go to the Settings and check the possible required confirmations.

4. Additionally, for questions and support, look through https://help.safe.global/en/ or contact the Safe support team.

* Smart Wallet is a wallet developed by Swaps.io contributors using unmodified smart contracts from Safe Global. Only wallets created through the Swaps.io platform are supported by the Swaps.io interface. No other Safe wallets are supported.

** After making a deposit, the Smart Wallet is activated only on the network of that deposit's asset. When you swap on a new network, a new activation will occur automatically, along with a small one-time fee.
